	Before we can determine the software tools most suitable for business 
	intelligence we need to be clear about the aims and objectives of the 
	business concerned and since this presentation is being made in an NHS 
	Trust environment, and relevant examples can convey so much more than 
	generalised abstraction, I will do it in a manner that I believe to be 
	relevant to the NHS.
	<br/><br/>
	Since I have only been exposed to the NHS Informatics for 10 weeks I 
	can only make a guess about its aims and objectives based on impressions 
	I gained during this period.
